Engineering Consulting.
Product Architecture for Products That Actually Work.
RF Engineering • Embedded Systems • IoT • Biotech • MedTech • Marine Technology
I help founders, investors, and operators turn complex technical ideas into working products - Software Platforms, Embedded Hardware, RF/electronics, IoT, FinTech, BioTech/MedTech devices, Marine-grade systems and technical rescue for projects stuck between “almost done” and “quietly burning cash.”
RF, embedded, IoT, biotech, MedTech and marine engineering consulting.
I work where software, hardware, business pressure, vendors, budgets and reality collide. That collision is usually where the truth lives.
Software Product Architecture
Turn product ideas into clear software scope, UX logic, payment flows, admin tools, dashboards and implementation roadmaps.
- Mobile and web apps
- Client / admin portals
- Stripe, CRM and workflow logic
RF Engineering & Embedded Systems Consulting
Sensors, RF, firmware, control boards, IoT devices, rugged field hardware and connectivity planning.
- System block diagrams
- PCB / firmware planning
- Connectivity and telemetry
Biotech & MedTech Product Development
Device concepts, lab automation, bioreactor platforms, documentation, production workflows and compliance-minded development.
- Device feasibility
- Manufacturing strategy
- Risk and documentation
Marine Electronics & Rugged Systems
Boat, dock, and fleet systems designed for heat, water, vibration, corrosion, questionable wiring and actual field use.
- GPS / LTE monitoring
- Battery and engine data
- Remote access systems
Technical Rescue for Stuck Projects
For projects stuck between “almost done” and “nobody knows what’s happening.” Audit, simplify, and recover the build.
- Code / product audit
- Architecture cleanup
- Recovery roadmap
Engineering Operations & Scale-Up
Vendor pipelines, production plans, QA logic, documentation, budgets, team coordination and execution discipline.
- Vendor strategy
- Manufacturing workflows
- Operational KPIs
Real-world build patterns, not résumé wallpaper.
Useful work produces decisions, diagrams, priorities, and something a team can execute without chanting buzzwords in a circle.
From raw idea to investor-ready system
Convert a concept into a product map: feature scope, UX logic, payment flow, technical stack, development milestones and investor-demo strategy.
Hardware / software integration
Design the path from sensor or device to cloud dashboard, including telemetry, firmware planning, enclosure realities and deployment constraints.
Rescue a stuck build
Audit what exists, identify what is broken, kill unnecessary complexity, and produce a practical recovery roadmap.
Where software meets hardware.
The strongest value is usually at the interface: product logic, electronics, sensors, users, operations, compliance, and money all colliding in one beautiful mess.
Payments, portals, KYC-style logic, risk workflows, transaction systems.
Lab systems, cell-processing workflows, controlled equipment, scale-up.
Wearables, diagnostics, documentation-heavy product development.
Boats, docks, GPS/LTE, rugged electronics, monitoring and access control.
RF, embedded, IoT, BioTech, MedTech and Marine electronics consulting.
A compact map of the work clients usually ask for when the project needs engineering judgment, not generic advice.
RF Engineering Consulting
Architecture review, wireless system planning, sensor connectivity, telemetry paths, field constraints, and practical electronics decisions.
- Wireless architecture
- Telemetry planning
- Field deployment risk
Embedded Systems & IoT Consulting
Hardware/software integration for connected products, dashboards, firmware planning, remote monitoring, and operational visibility.
- Device-to-cloud architecture
- Firmware roadmap
- Dashboard and alerts
Marine Electronics Consulting
Rugged systems for boats, docks, rental fleets, GPS/LTE tracking, battery monitoring, access control, and harsh marine environments.
- GPS / LTE systems
- Battery and fleet monitoring
- Remote access logic
Fast technical clarity.
Before writing code, buying hardware, or hiring another vendor, get the architecture and execution logic clean.
01 // Triage
Define the actual problem, assets, constraints, budget, timeline, and failure points.
02 // Architecture
Create the system map: software, hardware, vendors, integrations, milestones.
03 // Execution
Move into MVP execution, prototype planning, supplier selection, or recovery mode.
04 // Verification
Document, simplify, test, and prepare the system for customers, investors, or production.
Engineering is Technical. Trust is Personal.
My clients do not hire only a skillset. They hire judgment, pressure tolerance, taste, scars, and the ability to say when something is nonsense.
About Michael
I am an engineer, founder, inventor, and operator based in Boca Raton, Florida. My background combines electronics, RF, Embedded Systems, BioTech/MedTech development, marine technology, manufacturing, and startup execution.
I like products that work in the real world, not just in a pitch deck. Real products face heat, water, vibration, users, regulations, vendors, budgets, and Murphy’s Law - usually all before lunch.
My career has been built around taking ideas from concept to reality and solving the problems that appear along the way. Because sooner or later, every design meets the real world - and the real world always has opinions.
Why this matters
The same mindset that keeps a diver alive, a boat functional, or a range safe also applies to engineering: preparation, discipline, redundancy, respect for risk, and clean execution.
Beyond Engineering: water, range and good people.
Beyond work, consulting, and startups, there is also life. This section offers a glimpse into my hobbies, interests, adventures, and the things I enjoy when I'm not building products or solving technical challenges.
South Florida Diving
If you are a diver, looking for a dive buddy, interested in Florida dive sites, reefs, wrecks, or simply enjoy the ocean, feel free to reach out. I am always glad to meet responsible, interesting people who enjoy time under the water.
Connect for DivingBoating & Marine Ideas
Boating is one of the best ways to disconnect from noise and reconnect with nature. I enjoy the Intracoastal, offshore fishing, marine technology, and conversations with people who appreciate boats, water, and practical innovation.
Connect for BoatingRange Time & Training Mindset
I do enjoy responsible, lawful, safety-focused shooting sports and range culture. Discipline, training, and personal responsibility are non-negotiable. If you are a responsible enthusiast who values proper range culture, feel free to connect.
